The situation in Bannu, Waziristan, and Kurram is alarming. These Pashtun regions are under the grip of militants, and instead of protecting the local population, there are credible concerns that state institutions, including parts of the armed forces, are turning a blind eye—or worse, enabling this violence.

Innocent Pashtuns are being targeted, silenced, and killed. Their only 'crime' is demanding peace, dignity, and constitutional rights in their own homeland.

This is not national security. This is state failure.

Pashtun lives matter. Justice must prevail.
